I will then select a topic, and then you and your opponent will face off and make an emote based on the theme. You will have 1 week to make the emote, and then our judges will decide the winner of each match up.

LTdAB Poetry Slam Submission Folder Open!We had a great time chatting with our participants, prize donors, judges and fellow writers yesterday. The month is approaching its end, and we have finally created and opened our contest folder for the poetry slam. Get those entries in as soon as you feel they are ready, but before the deadline at 11:59 PM CST May 31st, 2013. Here's a rundown of what all we expect an entry to have and be when submitted:

So sorry for the delay in announcing the winners
- I've been having minor issues once in a while during
my pregnancy this time, and it was difficult for me to do
anything this weekend, plus I still work fulltime, so I am

First Fanfiction Contest

The rules are easy:
Pick a picture from below, write a fanfiction about it, use the picture as preview and submit it to this group:

(no fear, you don't have to join the group to submit)

You can write a story for only one of 'em, but of course if you feel like it you can write a story for every single one. (But nobody can win two prices at a time!)
Also you can write whatever you want and as long as you want. No limitations.
You can submit Action, Angst, Drama, Family, Friendship, Horror, Humor, Hurt, Comfort, Parody, Romance, Smut, Tragedy, That kinky stuff etc.
And ignore everything I wrote maybe in the description of the pictures (can't be much). I want what you think!

What would be a contest without prices?

So you can win that what I can do best: Drawings!

1st: You can request whatever you want and you will get it in full color and how you want it. ;D I'll draw everything for youuuu~
2nd: 1 - 2 persons, a simple background
3rd: 1 -2 persons, base color, no background/one color bg

But no fear, everyone who enters the contest can request one free doodle - so nobody will left out in the cold. ...

That's not too hard

do you already use the pic of your choise as a thumbnail?

If not: save the picture on your harddrive.

When you upload or edit the story you want to submit upload the saved picture as the preview image.

After that, simply come to the group and hit the "contribute art"-button.

That's all

(submitting art to groups is very helpful to reach a larger audience anyway, so why not try and submit to other groups that fit your stories, too? Just in case you don't do that already

)

heya, just noticed that at least two of the stories aren't shown properly? The Stories from hope1090, maelgwyn and cloudskywarrior.

Is there something wrong with my settings or with the stories's settings?

yes I had this problem before but it seems to be a Firefox problem. (it works fine in Chrome and IE )
(I use the Firefox beta so dunno) I can read them without problems after one of the newest updates
