Commissions are open again!

And I’m working on a bunch of stuff we want to launch soon. Rework Patreon stuff, got a nsfw comic on hand I want to post and another in the works. Plus I really really want to finish DtN, so hopefully I get that into my work schedule as well. 

Hope to be able to manage commissions and comic work more smooth this time. 

In even greater news, I got my PC upgraded and after a lot of frustration got everything set up right again. So I’m now officially back again.

All changes have been done and I hope all important and more recent links are up to date again.

So what changed?

Not much to be frank. The Patreon is still on a monthly base. If you support me you will get charged once at the end of the month. Down To Nothing Pages are going to be posted as usual on Sundays. New is that everyone gets the same page, since this Patreon is a way to support me in general, and no longer exclusive for Down To Nothing.

The rewards are new.

I would like to avoid posting content exclusive to Patron. In my ideal world everybody should be able to look at everything I draw and post, no matter what finacial situation they face

Therefore, instead of exclusive content, there are now rewards as a goodie and a Thank You for your support. Depending on how well everything works rewards might be changed and/or added.

Overall I have to say, that nothing is final. I will have to figure out how to further improve things step for step myself.

As I say in the Patreon description - the bigger the support, the more content I can draw and post, the more thought I can put into additional/different rewards. Until then I still have to put a lot of time into doing commissions to secure my livelihood. But I hope that will even out in the future.

For the last couple of years I always had premium membership, buying it every year anew - but now... that new price is so stupid.  

Even though I like how my page looked before a lot better, but ...nah

Another year has gone, another one arrived. 

Can't wait to see what surprises the new year has in store for us. Good or bad, let's make the most of it and change ourselves and the world around us for the better.

Hello lovelies  

It has been a while since I updated my journal, but I promise that I'm still alive!

But firstly I'm sorry I didn't thank you for your lovely birthday wishes. Thank you all for remembering my birthday and for leaving a message. I'm sorry that I'm a little late, but believe me, they're all appreciated! 
I neglected the journal and replying to comments lately, and I'll try to do better. 

One reason why I have my mind everywhere but not where I should is the development of Down To Nothing. 
When I wished to create a longer TF2-comic I was aware I could only do that if I can "buy" the time for it. That's why I had to ask for support, and created a patreon for DTN. Things went very well in the beginning. Your support gave me the opportunity to work on my first real comic, and I learned a lot over the last year.

But after changing from weekly payment to monthly the support I had received to that point were quartered automatically (before: 5,-/week => 20,-/month, then: 5,-/month). Who helped me with 20,- a month had to adjust their payment, which, in several cases, didn't happen, and some even cancelled their subscription. Right now, if I consider the hours I work on each page, I'm paid less than 2,- Euro per hour.

I want to continue the comic, but it has become difficult. I'm scrapping by as a young artist, and drawing a comic costs valuable time that can make the difference between being able to pay my monthly bills or not. 

I understand that it maybe was weird or confusing to change the payment options from one day to the other. As I said before, I learned a lot over the last months, and now I know it would have been smarter to run it like this from the beginning and to stick with it. I'll remember this lesson for future patreon projects.

As it is, I have to ask you guys for your help and support. If you enjoy DTN or my art in general, and have a few spare Euros or Dollars, please consider supporting me. I don't want to pause DTN because I'm forced to use that time for jobs that pay my basic needs like food and a roof above my head. I'm sorry I have to beg like this. I hope to reach a point with my art when I don't have to do this anymore, but I'm just not there yet.
