First Respawn

First there was nothing but black.
Not even thoughts.
The pain, the screams, the rusty taste of blood, everything was gone.
Then the respawn room appears around him. It wasn't as if he could open his eyes, for his eyes were already open, as if someone had simply turned on a light; and with it, all of his senses.
At first he felt deeply relaxed, but the feeling itself was shortlived; memories of what had happened moments before flash before his very eyes. His heart starts hammering, sweat forms, and pools on his upper lip. His whole body shakes violently, and he almost drops the scattergun in his hands. The Scattergun? Did he lose it?
And his leg? He looked at his right leg. Nothing! Of course there was his right leg, where it was supposed to be, but there WAS no wound. No pain.
He remembered that he wanted to jump to that freaking point, but that damn unskilled sniper got him in the air. In his right leg to be exact. He remembered the endless pain as his thigh bone splintered and he fell face forward on the dusty ground. The ache in his leg lasted for only a moment, the sensation overshadowed itself by the throbbing pain of his broken nose, holes in his gums indicating that he had lost some of his teeth as well.
He screams with pain and holds his leg, and blood runs down the point of his chin. As he raises his head, his mouth parting so that he may better scream for his Medic, he notices the sticky bombs resting at his side. His stomach flares with realisation that it would not be long before they detonate.
And then...

His breath becomes heavy...was he alive? He was.
Beside him the Medic appears, ready to run out of the respawn room, stopping in his tracks as he sees Scout. “Scout, everyzing okay?”
The young man cleared his throat “Yeah...I... I just though I would die.”
The medic smiles knowingly and tousles his hair “You did, mein Junge!”

Yes this time you got the story behind a picture...'cause I couldn't draw yesterday, so I wrote this.
I guess it's very...disturbing if you respawn the first time.
